In the design, the verticals of all circular conical surfaces including raceway of shaft washer, raceway of housing washer and rolling surface of roller interact at one point on the center line of the bearing. Single-direction bearing can bear unidirectional axial load while double-direction bearings can bear bidirectional axial load.
