Beijing, Aug 7 afternoon (Nikkei Newspaper): SKF, the world’s biggest bearing enterprise, has invested 0.8 billion Swedish krona (about 0.723 billion RMB) to set up an integration base that gathers production, research and developing of bearing in Shanghai. The reason why SKF set up this Asian core base in China, the biggest country in automobile manufacturing, is that, it can satisfy the local bearing needs timely.
This integration base has automobile bearing plant, technique center and logistics center. Among them, the technique center can answer the needs of Northeast Asia bearing enterprises, including Japan and Korea.
